It’s November, Wow! Can you believe it’s almost the start of the silly season and of course, the end of the school year?  Where has this year gone to? I am sure, just like us, there were plenty of items on your 2016 to-do-list that have not been checked off ….as yet (and the likelihood of checking off these items are slim to none, if not nigh impossible.)

Luckily, with a bit of digging around on the interweb, you can find out all the info you will need out there to assist you in planning your festive season and the new year. But who’s got time for that? As a Rubix Parent (if you are not one yet, then click here) we have gathered some relevant bits of info for you and compiled a few key dates to be aware of over this crazy holiday period to make your lives a little easier.

End of School Term 2016

School officially ends for all public schools on the 7th of December with the private schools closing in and around this date too. Lets be honest, we are all happy about this one. Now we just have to worry about how much food we will have left in the fridge at the end of each day. Have you tried Pick n Pay online shopping? Deliveries are daily – shop now at www.picknpay.co.za

Start of School Term 2017

School officially opens for all public schools on the 11th of January and private schools around the 18th of January. By now I am sure you have already received the endless lists of textbooks, stationery and new official clothing that needs to be purchased for 2017. There goes that Christmas Bonus we worked so hard to get.  Check out www.myschoolstationery.co.za for some great offers all under one roof.

Public Holidays

The silly season, named for the amount of Public Holidays scattered around the festive season, just got better, with our government adding an additional day to the list of the 16th , 25th & 26th of December and the 1st of January. The 27th of December will also be a public holiday since the 25th falls on the Sunday, this holiday rolls over to Monday the 26th. Therefore the 26th has been rolled over to the 27th, if that made any sense at all. Essentially this means you will have another braai to attend. Check out https://www.braaifree.co.za for some new choices of meat to cook and the convenience of ordering online.

So with all of that being said, we actually only have less than 8 weeks before kids go back to school and since the new year can be quite chaotic, why not get a head start on 2017 and secure your child’s seat on Rubix. Registrations for 2017 close at the end of the month and seats are filling up fast.

We understand that this time of year can be tough for a lot of families, so we are now offering all new client registrations for 2017 at 2016 prices*. That’s right. This limited offer cannot be beat. Click here to book your spot now and quote Ref: 2017 FTBM to qualify for this discount.

In a time when the waist line seems to expand uncontrollably, at least you can be safe in the knowledge that as a Rubix parent, we will do what we can to make sure your costs do not expand uncontrollably too. And with this one item now checked off your 2017 to-do list, you can focus on something a little more fun, like that beauty treatment you have wanted, or that 7 iron you saw last week at the golf shop.

Don’t forget – 2017 Registrations at 2016 Prices*. Secure your seat now!
